Jemala was born of Ian and Phyllis Gill’s passion for wool. Their farm in Australia produces the finest Merino wool in the world - 14 microns, for incomparable lightness and softness. An exceptional product, this fibre is then transformed in Northern Italy, the cradle of traditional worsted wool and then woven in India, in the Amriitsar region, by the only artisans capable of weaving such a fine thread . Jemala, in collaboration with an Australian designer, has created a remarkable stole dyed with plants from the Australian desert.

Poetic jewellery and airy adornments handmade in Korean knots with a single thread from beginning to end, her creations play with volume and depth, absence and presence. Light passes through them giving visibility to their sophistication.

Their magnificent stoles and scarves made of wild Muga silk or wool and silk, are dyed naturally with plants in subtle harmonies of colours mixing with the natural gold of the Muga silk. The traditional dyeing factories are heated by solar energy. A great project and great products.

Jemala was born of Ian and Phyllis Gill’s passion for wool. Their farm in Benalla, near Victoria, Australia, produces the finest Merino wool in the world - 14 microns, for incomparable lightness and softness. An exceptional product, this fibre is then transformed in northern Italy, the cradle of traditional worsted wool and then woven in India in the area of Amriitsar by the only artisans capable of weaving such a fine thread.
This year, Jemala has developed and woven stoles with an even finer wool - 13.5 micron - they are very few in number.

A collection of baby alpaca for men and women made in Peru for La Boutique Extraordinaire. For women, coloured cardigans or loose neck sweaters light and airy in ranges of blue and purple, and V-necked sweaters or ones with round collars in natural alpaca colours. For men, lightweight V-neck sweaters or ziped neck pullovers. Warmer and more isothermic than other wools, alpaca is very comfortable to wear and baby alpaca is particularly soft to the touch.
